This is a 5 week class for puppies and dogs over 6 months old.  We will work on the basic commands to sit, down, and to walk on a loose leash.

Starting some new classes on Monday March 18th.  The 5pm class, for 5 weeks, is called Transition to Basic which is for puppies and beginner trainers.   The 6 pm class is for experienced trainers (with pups that they have already worked on basics) as well as students that have already taken my puppy class with their pup and trainers with their older dog.   Both are 5 weeks for $145.00.

Go to  www.campjan.com for the on-line enrollment form.  Contact Jan Nuzzo for more information.

This is a 6 week class for puppies 2 to 6 months old and small toy pups under 1 year old. Introduction to the world of words, collars and leashes, movements and the things around us.  We will be working within the guidelines of the AKC STAR PUPPY program.

CONTACT JAN NUZZO TO SIGN UP FOR THE NEXT CLASS AND TO BE ADDED TO THE WAIT LIST.

This is a 4 week class working on the requirements for the AKC CGC certificate.  We will also be doing some tricks for the AKC Novice Trick Dog Title.

The optional 5th class will be the official CGC Test and Trick Dog Evaluation.

These advanced Obedience classes will teach skills including an introduction to competition focused heeling, off leash reliability, formal “stay” work in all three positions, and recalls under heavy distraction past food and toys for individuals wanting to compete in AKC Novice, Open and/or Utility at a competitive level. One thing is for sure: You and your dog will develop an even deeper bond than you ever thought possible as you progress through each level of training.

Rally is all about teamwork. You and your dog navigate a course together, side-by-side, at your own brisk pace. You move him through a course with signs where he performs different exercises. The courses are designed by the Rally judge (10-20 signs per course, depending on the class level) that include various turns and commands such as sit, down, stay, etc.

Unlimited communication from the handler to the dog is to be encouraged and not penalized. While touching isn’t allowed, you can use verbal commands, clap your hands, pat your legs and use hand signals to praise and encourage your dog.

CONTACT KYM THOMAS FOR SIGN UP FOR INFORMATION ABOUT JOINING THE CLASSES.
